Grandfather, artist, Alex Muzechuk (1910-1989) immigrates from Ukraine at age 10. He introduces grandson, Gary, in his early years to art.
Born the third and youngest child of Robert Muzechuk, automotive executive, and his wife Lynda Muzechuk.
First drawing assignment at Incarnation School attracts attention to budding talents.
First private art lessons with instructor Bud Silver.
Attends The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH studying Business majoring in Marketing. Dabbles in art while in college.
Moves to southern California. Works selling industrial chemicals. Discovers the Laguna Beach art scene. Produces works in mixed media.
Moves to San Francisco. Enrolls and studies under Stanley Goldstein at San Francisco Art Academy.
Moves to Costa Rica. Works on figure drawing and painting while living in tropical rain forest and paints while touring Central and South America with cousin and fellow artist, Rich Muzechuk. Paints first mural for niece, Ali Pflaumer, "Circle of Life".
Returns to Ohio. Enrolls in Ron Lee’s painting class at Wind School of Fine Art and paints "The Flutemaker" which takes Best of Show. Also studies under Kee Hee Lee in Chinese Brush Painting. Releases first published work, "The Flutemaker."
Creates several murals while extensively traveling the world in the incentive travel industry. Moves to Chicago to study at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
Acquires studio and enrolls at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Produces works in the style of Cezanne, Van Gough, Matisse and Abstract Expressionists. ". Paints largest mural, "Hollywood Drive-In".
Muze’s first exhibition at Urban Studio on Webster. Paints “Seasons Pass” with The Ohio State University and begins Carmen Ohio Series. Produces first commission, "Oz Park." In autumn, he returns to Columbus, Ohio. Dedicates first of each limited edition to The Ohio State University and to the Woody Hayes Memorial Library, Sigma Chi Fraternity, Denison University, Granville, OH.
Paints "Red or White?" mural. Manages Wind Gallery, Cincinnati, Ohio, while continuing painting. Works represented at Wind Fine Art Gallery. Meets the artist Davis Schluss and takes further interest in painting directly with the hands. Paints sculptured “Snowman”, a donation for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital commissioned by Wind Gallery owner, Teddy Wu, dedicated to Caroline A. Carter.
Studies live figure drawing. Invited to sell art in the Key West Cultural Preservation Society Sunset Celebration on famous Mallory Square.
Moves to Asheville, North Carolina and exhibits at A Boy & His Dog Fine Art Gallery. Collaborates on several works with acclaimed artist, Steve Tracy. Publishes Carmen Ohio Series', "Seasons Pass" Poster.
Publishes "Ohio's Praise," second of the Carmen Ohio Series. Gifts edition firsts to The Ohio State University in The Varsity O Room at Ohio Stadium, Coach's Office at Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Roger D. Blackwell Inn at Fisher College of Business and the Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc.

Joins a group of artists at The Dayton Art Institute for Painting without Fear - Creating Anew, an intensive workshop by Robert Stanley.
Joins The Ohio State University Marching Band for the 75th Anniversary celebration of Script Ohio at the Homecoming Skull Session in St. John Arena.
